#TeamBeeStinger delivered an impressive weekend at the Salt Lake Summit USAT Qualifier, with Kyle Douglas taking the gold medal and teammate Dewey Hathaway securing silver in a strong showing at one of the premier events on the USAT circuit.

Kyle Douglas Claims Gold
Douglas battled through an early challenging qualification round before finding his rhythm and carrying momentum all the way to the top of the podium.
“I don’t usually shoot a lot of USAT’s but decided to give it a little bit of a go before Olympic trials to get the swing of things. I made a few mistakes early in the qualification round that I wasn’t too thrilled with but managed to get things back together and somehow landed in the top spot. Eliminations went well and I was able to roll through matches all the way to gold. Good weekend for shooting some bows and arrows! Really happy with my setup and how things are shooting.”
His performance showcased the consistency and confidence needed to compete at the highest level heading into Olympic Trials season.
Hathaway Earns Silver Medal
Hathaway also put together a standout weekend, earning the silver medal after battling through a highly competitive field and continuing to establish himself in the senior division.
“After a little over a year of adjusting to this senior division I finally found the podium. Competing against the guys you have looked up to all your archery career and having the chance to compete in matches with them is one of the most rewarding feelings.”
